We had an amazing weekend with Steve Brand recently and wanted to share his Sunday message with you. For more information on the resources shared at the workshop click HERE, and read more about Steve below:
Steve Brand became a disciple of Jesus on 12/4/77 while a junior at Eastern Illinois University. He served as a campus leader and an evangelist in the full time ministry for 8 years leading churches in South Carolina, St. Louis and Boston with campus ministries at University of South Carolina, Washington University, Boston University and Boston College.
Steve and his wife Teryl (married now 37 years) led the Gateway Church planting to St. Louis, MO, in 1986. They have two dynamic adult children: Keenan (30) in Los Angeles and Stephany (28) in Marietta, GA.
After leaving the full time ministry in 1989, Steve pursued a dual Masters at Boston University (MSW/MPH) and worked in the trenches at Boston Metro Area psych hospitals for 7 years. He began his private practice in 1996 in Cambridge, MA, and again restarted it after moving to Atlanta in 1998 in historic Roswell, GA.
In addition to therapy, he is also an Executive Coach and a Wilderness Coach, leading clients to achieve a balanced, sustainable success. He intuitively and dynamically leads clients away from their gadgets, email and the constant white noise of urban life in order to connect with their souls via pristine, global, bucket list destinations.
Steve has seen over 37,000 hours of client service, doing Biblical Professional Therapy and Professional Coaching mostly with disciples in Boston, Atlanta and around the world. He has presented his Optimal Mental Health Workshop for Disciples and The Restoration of the Heart Workshops in churches around the USA and abroad in San Pedro Sula, Honduras; San Jose, Costa Rica; Accra, Ghana; Abuja & Lagos, Nigeria; Abijan, Ivory Coast; Nairobi, Kenya; Monrovia, Liberia; Kisumu, Kenya; Mombasa, Kenya; and Quito, Equador.
