Michael serves as the Congregational Teacher for the DFW Church. Michael and MyCresha have served together in ministry for 18 years in Milwaukee and Appleton, Wisconsin, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, before moving to Dallas in 2022. MyCresha has been an RN since 2003 and currently works as a Critical Care Nurse. She also owns and operates a Legal Nursing Consulting Business. Together, they have spoken and led workshops in churches around the world on many biblical topics ranging from the historical and cultural context of the Bible to race, culture, and politics in the kingdom of God.
The Burns were married in 1997 and have two grown children: Pavielle who lives in Minneapolis and Elijah who attends college at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul.
