One More Week Left For Our 2024 Missions Contribution! Please pray that we can raise more money this week to help the 5 sister churches we are raising funds for around the world. Donate today by using Tithely or by sending us a check! We are in the last week of collecting donations for our first annual Missions Contribution that will be giving donations to five of our sister churches in Angola, Bangkok Thailand, Philippines, RevivEE (Eastern Europe) and Uruguay. We appreciate all donations that have already been given and are grateful for your faith and gift. If you want to give, you can give on our website using Tithely, or you can give us by sending in a check if you do not want to pay the Tithely fee. To Donate Using Tithely: Go to our website, go to the "Give" page, and click on the drop-down menu where it says "General Fund." You will see all five churches listed, and you can select which church you want to give to. (You will also see a "Missions-General" account - for those of us who may not have a preference and want to donate. All the funds in the Missions-General account will be distributed amongst one or more of the five sister churches selected this year.) To Donate Via Check: Some of us may not want to pay the Tithely fee, which can become a stumbling block. Please know you can always send us a check with your donation by sending it to: SF Bay Fellowship, 660 4th Street #294, San Francisco, CA 94107 The five sister churches: If you want a reminder of our connection to each of the five churches we are donating to, please click on the link here. It will take you to last weekend's newsletter, which has a short summary of our connection to each of the five sister churches. God is moving! We hope that all of us will join in prayer this lst week that we are raising funds and for God to move powerfully and help us raise much more money for these sister churches. We also pray that our brothers and sisters worldwide feel the love of God and the love of their families around the world, who have them in our prayers. For more infomation visit:

June is Pride Month - Choose Love
The intersection of Christianity and the LGBTQ+ community has sparked significant dialogue and reflection within religious communities worldwide. As we navigate this complex terrain, where the Christian community can be seen as a hate group to people in the LGTBQ+ community, it is crucial to explore how we, as Christians, can embody love, compassion, and mirror the teachings and images of Christ Himself. Psalm 46 New Life Version: "God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble. God is a safe place. As image bearers of Christ we should reflect the love of God in our communities. 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones. We may not know how to approach this topic or what to say, but the Bible calls us to embrace love and to give love to others. There are many ways to do that. Here are a few: * Listening: Engaging in genuine dialogue with individuals understanding their experiences and challenges will foster empathy and curiosity. * Creating Safe Spaces: Create safe and welcoming environments where all individuals feel valued and respected. * Education and Awareness: There are many resources and educational opportunities to deepen understanding of LGBTQ+ issues from theological, psychological, and social perspectives. Take time to learn from other Christians who are teaching on this topic.Throughout the Gospels, Jesus consistently demonstrated radical love and compassion towards those marginalized or oppressed by society. His interactions with themarginalized and his teachings on love without condition serve as foundational examples for us today. Navigating the intersection of Christianity and the LGBTQ+ community requires courage, humility, and an unwavering commitment to love as we try to create a more just and compassionate world where everyone feels embraced and valued. As we strive to reflect the image of Christ in our lives, may our actions and words be a beacon of hope and acceptance for all. |

We appreciate any donations and hope that God multiplies them in blessings for you and your loved ones. 2 Cor 9:7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
