Greg And Rebecca Are Moving To The Sacramento Area!
Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” We share with mixed emotions that Greg, Rebecca and their son are moving to the Sacramento area before the end of the month.
We are encouraged by their faith and by what God is doing in their lives. We were blessed to be able to see them date and get married in our Fellowship and to continue to grow their faith as they became a family. After much prayer, God has made it clear to them that it is time to move to the Sacramento area, and we are so happy for our sister church, the Sac Metro Church, as they will be getting a phenomenal family joining their Fellowship. We are so blessed to have had them in our Fellowship and look forward to continuing to connect with them as we do events with the Sac Metro Church!!
Greg and Rebecca - We will miss you so dearly, but we know God has great plans for you and can't wait to hear all about them!! Always know with confidence that if you ever need anything, you always have family here in the Bay Area who love you and will be excited to see you every chance we can get! Sacramento is receiving a huge blessing from having you join their fellowship. We love you and are rooting for nothing but great things for you!

Families Of Vision Monthly MeetingA faith-based family support group for families caring for people with mental heath conditions. - Sunday, July 21, 2024 When someone you love is diagnosed with mental health condition, it is a traumatic experience. You are not alone! We have walked in your shoes and understand what you are going through. We believe that in addition to education and support, we need FAITH to strengthen us in this journey. We meet on the Third Sunday of the month between 1:30 - 2:30 pm over Zoom. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NIV Our group is called “Families of Vision” because we are families who believe in having a “Vision of Hope” for our loved ones. Building Godly families is not an easy in today’s world, and when our loved ones are diagnosed with mental health conditions, the challenges increase ten-fold. This can lead to discouragement and hopelessness. However, there is Hope in God! In Psalm 127, the Bible says that God builds our families and He has a plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11-13, Ephesians 2:10). Faith from scriptures give us hope, comfort and guidance we need to support our loved ones to recovery. By supporting each other in this journey, we will endure and continue to hold on to a “Vision of Hope” for our loved ones. “Families of Vision” is facilitated by NAMI-trained parents and follows the NAMI FaithNet model for the support group. Along with Bible scriptures, we use NAMI’s Principles of Support to guide our discussions. We truly believe that when we are comforted by God, we will be able to comfort others.
