Our Sister Church In Angola Thanks The SF Bay Fellowship!Thank you to all of you who donated to this church during our 2024 missions contribution. Here is a message that was sent to us from Araujo Rodrigues, who leads the church in Luanda, Angola, in response to our special contribution that we sent over to their fellowship. Hi, hope all is well with you and the family. We heard about the donation you are about to do for the church here in Angola. We feel so humbled to see your hearts to serve and help the church here in Angola. The truth is, there are no words to express our gratitude to you and the church there. We just want you and the church in [the Bay Area] to know that we are so grateful for your hearts and we Pray that God keep on blessing you and the church. We also pray that we can strengthen our relationship that one day we will get to meet face to face and fellowship together and get to know each other better. In the name of the Angola church, we thank you so much. Colossians 1:3-4 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people. |
Today Is The First Day Of Fall!
Fall is officially here! Here are a few fun fall facts for you to enjoy! * Americans typically refer to this time of year as “fall,” while the British use the word “autumn.” Both terms date back to the 16th century but before that it was called “harvest. Harvest is found all over the Bible and can be studied out for a fun Fall study! * Fall was called “harvest” because of the “harvest moon” that occurs when the full moon is closest to the autumn equinox. Before man-made lighting, this moonlight was essential to a prosperous harvest. * The yellow and orange colors you see actually always exist in leaves but they are overpowered by the abundance of green from chlorophyll. The amount of chlorophyll starts to decrease as the sun weakens and the days grow shorter. Thus, exposing the yellow and orange in the leaves. * The equinox falls on a different day different years... the reason why the equinox falls on a different date each year is because the Gregorian calendar (the one used by most of the world) counts only 365 days a year, rather than the 365.25 days the Earth actually takes to orbit the sun. * Those born in Autumn could live longer, according to a study carried out by the Journal of Aging Research. The study found that 30% of US centenarians born during 1880-1895 were born in the Autumn season. James 5:7-8 Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near. Happy Autumn Season! (Fun Facts were found on this site.) |
Thank You For Your Donation or Or Tithe/Contribution To Our Fellowship
We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who have generously donated or tithed to our fellowship to help us advance the gospel throughout the Bay Area. In August, our average weekly donation was $6102. We continue to pray that God will move in remarkable ways and multiply what we have to help many souls have a relationship with God. If you are interested in donating or giving a tithe to our fellowship, please click on the "Tithe" button below. We appreciate any and all donations and hope that God multiplies them in blessings for you and your loved ones. Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” For more infomation visit:
