Thank You For Making Our 2024 Missions Contribution A Huge Success!!
For the first time, our fellowship decided to collect a Missions Contribution for five sister churches around the world: our sister churches in Angola, Bangkok, Thailand, the Philippines, RevivEE (Eastern Europe), and Uruguay. We appreciate all the donations that were given and are grateful for your faith and all of your prayers! The fellowship collected over $90,000 in Missions Contributions, and the SF Bay Fellowship gave 100% of all that was collected to the five sister churches!! Your giving was such a blessing and so faith-inspiring! We are humbled by your love and sacrifice to give to others. We are also grateful that God moved powerfully to make our 2024 contribution successful! The total amounts of donations that the fellowship collected were: Angola $19,000 Bangkok $15,000 Philippines $17,000 RevivEE $28,000 Uruguay $12,000 We ask that you continue to join us in prayer for God to move powerfully with the money He has provided for these sister churches. We also pray that our brothers and sisters worldwide feel the love of God and the love of their families around the world, who have them in our prayers. Thanks again so much for helping make this a great year of giving! |
Stockton Dreaming
Four weeks ago, Anne and I joined with other Northern California International Church Of Christ (ICOC) church leaders for a two-day retreat in Stockton to pray about a future church-planting in that great city. Along with Ken and Lina Chau (Sacramento), Gary and Chris Simmons (Fresno), John and Jan Oakes (Merced), and Rob and Pam Skinner (Tuscon), we had a great time of fellowship, friendship, Bible study, and prayer while we visited the campus of University of the Pacific (UOP), various parks and scenic areas, diverse neighborhoods, the Miracle Mile and the downtown area. Stockton is the 11th most populous city in California (322,000) and home to the oldest university in California (UOP). There was an effort to plant a church there over twenty years ago, but it never materialized. There are a number of disciples who have hoped and prayed for years that a church would be planted there. While there are still no definite plans for a planting, it is our prayer that God would begin to put it on the hearts of faithful disciples who have been dreaming for this day. If you, or someone you know, are interested in being part of a church planting in Stockton, please let us know! Brock - SF Bay Fellowship Ministry Leader For more infomation visit:
